The observation this business is built on
We read the France pages of every significant Indian outbound operator before building this one. Twelve of them, properly, page by page. Three things were true of all twelve.
Their origin-city pages contain no origin-city information. A national brand's page titled “Europe tour packages from Chennai” contains generic Europe copy — no MAA routing, no local office, no mention of the France visa centre that sits in that city. The operator with the largest physical branch network in Tamil Nadu — offices in Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Madurai, Salem and Trichy — has a France page that displays no price and does not mention Tamil Nadu once.
Their destination pages contain no Indian dietary or community content. One operator has a standing line about Jain meals. One small site has a thin page about vegetarian food in France. That is the entire field, in a market where the most common anxiety on a first Europe trip is what there will be to eat.
Their visa content is generic, undated and not South-India-specific. Which matters, because roughly one in six Indian Schengen applications does not result in a visa, and because for anyone living outside a metro the visa is not a form — it is a journey, a day of leave, and a hotel night.
None of that is a criticism of those companies as operators. They are large, competent businesses selling to a national market. It is simply a description of a gap, and the gap happens to be exactly the size of a Coimbatore travel company that works in Tamil.

- An inclusions and exclusions table on every package page, because the four lines usually left out — airfare, visa fee, monument tickets and city tax — are ₹10,000 a head each
- Live quotes for airfare and entry tickets rather than stale converted tables we would have to restate every quarter
- Where a source is stale or two sources disagree, we say so on the page instead of picking the convenient one
“With your food sorted”
- Meal preferences recorded per traveller on the booking document — vegetarian, pure veg, Jain, halal or none
- Airline meal codes on the ticket at the time of issue, not requested at check-in
- Indian food routed into the itinerary: Passage Brady and Little Jaffna are on the plan, not a rescue option
- For Jain travellers, pre-arranged meals plus an apartment with a kitchen — because Jain-strict food barely exists as a restaurant category in Paris and we would rather say so

Alongside this France brand it runs domestic holiday packages and vehicle rental out of Coimbatore, and sister travel brands elsewhere in South India.
France Tours & Travels exists as a separate brand rather than a page on a general travel site for a practical reason: France and Schengen work is a different discipline from domestic packages. The visa file, the routing from a city with no nonstop, the meal arrangements, the monument booking windows — these are specialised, they change, and they reward somebody paying attention to them full time. A France enquiry handled by a generalist desk between two Ooty bookings is how families end up with an incomplete application and a second trip to Chennai.
We are a new brand on a new domain, and we would rather say that than imply a heritage we do not have. What we do have is a real office you can walk into, a phone number a person answers, prices printed on the page, and a set of claims that can be checked.
How we work, start to finish

WhatsApp, phone or email, in Tamil, English or Hindi. We want the travel window, the group, the departure city and anything that constrains the trip — a diet, a knee, a school term. A real person in Coimbatore replies, between 6 am and 11 pm, every day.
Itinerary and price
A day-by-day plan, named hotels, a land price per person in rupees, a live airfare quote on your dates including any positioning leg, and the exclusions list printed. If something in the plan will not work, we say so here — four countries in seven nights, or August dates that could move.
Document check
Every page of the visa file read against the France-Visas requirement set before anything is booked and before anyone travels to Chennai. If your financial evidence is thin, you hear it from us with time to fix it, not from a consulate with none.
Bookings and reservations
Hotels and flight reservations confirmed and issued in the form the application expects. Non-refundable tickets are deliberately not issued at this stage, because the visa has not been decided.
Appointment and decision
Appointment booked at the France centre in Chennai, with the current address confirmed the week you travel. Processing is commonly 15 to 30 days and we track it with you rather than leaving you to refresh a page.
Travel, and someone awake at home
Tickets issued, meal codes on, documents sent. While you are away there is a contact in Coimbatore in a useful time zone — which matters more at 2 am in a Paris hotel than any brochure promise.

The parent company handles domestic packages and vehicle rental separately. Keeping France on its own desk is deliberate, because Schengen work rewards full attention. How do you make money if you publish all your prices?
The same way every operator does — a margin on the arrangements. Publishing the band does not remove the margin, it removes the negotiation theatre. We would rather spend the first conversation on your dates and your visa file than on getting you to reveal a budget before we reveal a number. The bands run ₹74,500 to ₹3,05,000 with the exclusions printed under every one.
What happens if my visa is refused?
We help you read the grounds and decide between an appeal and a rebuilt application, and we work through the file again. What we will not do is help anyone dress up a file — it does not work and it converts a refusal into something worse. Which is why the document check happens before you book anything. About 15.8% of Indian applications were refused in 2025, so we have this conversation often.
