What ten days buys you over seven
The seven-night France trip — five nights in Paris, two on the Riviera, ₹1,23,000 to ₹1,60,000 per person land only — is the most-booked shape in the Indian market, and for a first visit it is the right one. Ten days is a different proposition. It is not seven days with the pace slowed; it is seven days plus a second half of France that the shorter trip cannot reach: the châteaux of the Loire or the beaches and abbey of Normandy, and the hill villages and vineyards of Provence between the Riviera and the flight home.
An honest word on the market first. A true France-only tour of ten days is unusual among Indian operators — most ten-day products on sale are multi-country Europe trips that happen to touch Paris for a night or two, priced from roughly ₹2,32,000 to ₹3,02,000 with flights. We build it both ways and tell you which you are actually buying, because "10-day France package" and "10-day Europe package that includes France" are very different holidays at very different prices.

There is no nonstop to Paris from South India, so you connect through a Gulf or European hub, or feed to Delhi for the only nonstop.
When should I book and apply for the visa?
Applications are accepted no earlier than six months before travel and at least five days before departure, with processing commonly 15 to 30 days, so a 10-day France trip is best confirmed two to three months ahead.
